Nzengu’s return comes after several months in India, where he had been receiving medical attention. During his hospitalisation, Kasalu visited him and subsequently reported that he was recovering well and was in good spirits.
His prolonged absence from public engagements had raised concern among residents of Mwingi North, many of whom had been eager for updates on his health and return to active public service.
The legislator’s absence had also been noticeable during key public and political events in the constituency, including Mashujaa Day celebrations hosted in Mwingi North and political activities surrounding the Migwani Ward by-election.
