Televangelist Kathy Kiuna has opened up about a jaw-dropping miracle that followed the death of her husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, revealing how a Ksh 196 million church debt was miraculously cleared weeks after his passing.

Speaking during an emotional memorial service held on July 15, 2024, at the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) Parklands sanctuary, Kathy recounted how she and her husband had borrowed Ksh 250 million to build the church’s iconic Parklands branch. The project, she said, was a major financial undertaking, and the couple had spent 15 years faithfully repaying the loan.

“We were even ready to sell our house to finish it off,” she told a packed congregation. “But just before my husband died, he looked at me and said, ‘Hunny, don’t worry. God has taken over. It’s going to be very easy.’ I didn’t understand it then.”

Bishop Allan Kiuna passed away on July 9, 2024, after a long and public battle with multiple myeloma cancer. He was 57 years old. His death marked the end of an era for JCC, which he co-founded with Kathy in 1999. Over the years, the ministry grew into one of Kenya’s most prominent megachurches, with thousands of followers across the region and a strong media presence.

Kathy told mourners that three weeks after Bishop Allan’s death, she received a call from the bank with unexpected news: the institution had chosen to waive Ksh 120 million from the remaining loan, leaving a balance of Ksh 74 million.

“I hadn’t even recovered from that shock when another miracle happened,” she continued. “In just one hour, a group of friends came together and raised the entire balance—Ksh 74 million. The loan was cleared. Just like that.”

The crowd erupted in applause, many moved to tears, as Kathy emphasized that her testimony was a powerful reminder of God’s provision and faithfulness.

Bishop Kiuna’s memorial and the story of this financial miracle have since gone viral, sparking discussions about faith, divine intervention, and the unwavering support of true friends in the face of tragedy.

As the Jubilee Christian Church continues under Kathy’s leadership, the legacy of Bishop Allan Kiuna lives on—not just through the ministry he built, but in the miraculous stories that continue to unfold in its walls.
