No More Flower Girls! Dr. Kyalo Muli Vows to Reposition Akamba at the Heart of Power

In a stunning declaration that could shake the political landscape, National Liberal Party (NLP) Leader Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli has vowed to end what he described as the systematic sidelining of the Akamba community from the country’s political power structure.

Addressing a charged gathering of supporters and local leaders, Dr. Muli sent a fiery message directly to President William Ruto and the ruling establishment:
“The Akamba will no longer be flower girls in government. We are founders, not followers — and it’s time we reclaimed our rightful place at the heart of national leadership!”

Dr. Muli lamented that despite years of loyalty and contribution to national development, the Akamba have been consistently misrepresented and shortchanged in political appointments and major government decisions.

“We have watched silently as others dine at the table while we are handed crumbs. That era is over. With NLP as our engine, we shall drive the Akamba agenda to the core of government,” he declared to thunderous applause.

According to sources close to the NLP leader, a comprehensive grassroots mobilization strategy has already been rolled out across Ukambani counties — Machakos, Makueni, and Kitui — aimed at building a solid political machine ahead of the 2027 elections.

Dr. Muli’s bold stance comes at a time when cracks have started to appear within traditional Ukambani political circles, signaling a possible realignment of forces that could see new power brokers emerge.

“Our people must never again be treated as political ornaments. We must be architects of our destiny,” Dr. Muli charged.

Political analysts are now closely watching Dr. Muli’s next moves, with some predicting that his uprising could reshape not just Ukambani politics, but also influence the national equation in the run-up to 2027.

“The message is clear: no more flower girls, no more tokenism. The Akamba are ready to lead,” he concluded, leaving the audience chanting his name.
