Wiper Party leaders have blamed President William Ruto for not supporting Kalonzo Musyoka’s bid for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship, arguing that his endorsement would have secured an easy victory.

Speaking during a church service at Full Gospel Church in Mwingi Central, area MP Gideon Mulyungi criticized Ruto’s lack of backing, stating: “Had President Ruto fronted Kalonzo for the top AU job, being a seasoned diplomat, he would have won easily.”

The remarks come amid growing debate over Kenya’s approach to continental leadership, especially after Raila Odinga’s unsuccessful bid. With Wiper now shifting focus back to national politics, Kalonzo’s next move remains a key point of speculation.
