Muthetheni Location in Mwala Sub-County is mourning the sudden death of CI Felix N’Konge, the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Muthetheni.

Confirming the sad news, Mwala Sub-County Police Commander Frendrick Suter said the officer passed away while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital after a short illness.
According to the Sub-County Commander, the late CI N’Konge had fallen sick briefly before being rushed to the capital for specialized medical attention, where he succumbed.

The news has sent shockwaves across the local security fraternity and residents of Muthetheni, who described the fallen officer as firm, fair and committed to his duties.

Vincent Musyoka Kawaya also mourned the deceased officer, expressing shock and deep sorrow over his passing.

“I have learned with shock and disbelief the passing on of CI Felix N’Konge, OCS Muthetheni,” the MP said in a statement.

“Felix was a dedicated officer who served with dignity and top-notch professionalism. To his family, colleagues and friends, I extend my condolences. Rest in peace,” he added.

CI N’Konge’s death leaves a significant gap in the local security leadership in Muthetheni, where he had been overseeing operations and community policing initiatives.

More details regarding burial arrangements and official police communication are expected in the coming days.
