The school community at Milaani Comprehensive School in Ndithini, Masinga Sub-County, Machakos County, is in deep shock following the sudden death of their headteacher. The Headteacher collapsed unexpectedly while overseeing the construction of a Grade 9 classroom.
According to Milaani Sub-Chief Mrs. Magdalene Mutua, who spoke to Channel 15 News, the headteacher was on a routine inspection when he suddenly lost consciousness. Staff members quickly rushed him to a nearby health facility, but tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. His body has been transferred to Masinga Sub-County Hospital, where a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
This incident has left the school’s staff, students, and local community in mourning as they come to terms with the loss of their dedicated headteacher.
