Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama is mourning the death of his son, Moses Muthama Nduya, whose passing has plunged the family into deep grief.

In a heartfelt statement released on Thursday, Muthama described Moses as a joyful and diligent young man whose life was cut short too soon, noting that the loss has left an indescribable void within the family. He said the family is finding solace in faith as they come to terms with the painful loss.

“Though our hearts are heavy, we entrust him to God’s loving care,” Muthama said, adding a prayer for his son’s soul to rest in eternal peace.

The death of Moses has drawn an outpouring of condolences from political leaders, friends, and Kenyans across the country, many of whom have expressed solidarity with the Muthama family during this difficult period. Messages of comfort have continued to pour in, reflecting the respect and goodwill the family commands within political and social circles.

As the family mourns privately, they have appealed for prayers and understanding as they navigate the moment of loss.
More details regarding funeral arrangements are expected to be communicated later.
