The tussle between Yatta Funeral Home in Kithimani and the landlord seems to be too far from over after , a group of gang today raided the premises ordering the owner to close it down or pay outstanding Ksh 400,000 rent which has been overdue .
Police were called in this evening to calm the situation down as aunctioners ordered a group of gang to bring down some structure as well as lock the owner and throw him outside.
Several men believed to have to been contracted by the said aunctioners were arrested and are currently being held at Kithimani Police Station.
This is not the first time Yatta Funeral Home is getting raided over rent dues and tusle with the landlord.
On November 27 2022, a gang attacked the Yatta Funeral Home in Machakos, destroying properties. During the incident Several suspects were arrested.
The owner of the morgue Gideon Mule told press that hired good destroyed a hearse and stabbed some dead bodies
A news report by TV 47, a 30-year-old man accused of destroying the morgues van then, was the son of the owner of the land where the morgue is situated.
The then tusle was reportedly emanating from dishonoured court order that required the morgue owner of paying Ksh 7 million.
