Machakos University has today held its 9th graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of 1,131 graduates who have completed their studies in various disciplines. This event underscores the university’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and contributing to community growth.

Among the graduates, 6 earned doctorate degrees, 251 received master’s degrees, and 874 completed undergraduate programs. The largest group hailed from the Education department, with 578 graduates, followed by 196 from Business, along with other disciplines like Health Sciences and Social Sciences.

The ceremony featured Chief Guest and Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, alongside Machakos Governor Hon. Wavinya Ndeti, who were both present to honor the graduates. In his address, Prof. Peter N. Mwita, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kaimosi Friends University, emphasized the significance of this milestone for the graduates and their potential impact on society.

In his remarks, Machogu commended the graduates for their dedication and urged them to leverage their skills for the benefit of the nation.
