Athiani FM star and voice of the people, James Malombe who passed away on November 28th after a long battle with kidney related disease has been laid to rest at his Chuluni home in Kitui East Constituency.
Kyumbe a household name in the media industry with a thriving career spanning to close to two decades , had worked with Syokimau Fm, Athiani Fm and Mbaitu Fm as breakfast presenter.
The burial was attended by who is who in the media and political scenes , who eulogized Kyumbe as a man of the people.
Some of the notable leaders who attended the event include former Kitui Governor Hon Charity Ngilu, East African Community Cs Hon Peninah Malonza among other elected and nominated leaders.
But it’s his beautiful family led by his wife that got the internet talking yesterday.
Kyumbe’s wife who has stuck with her husband at his sick bed eulogized him as the best man ever the world could offer to him, while praising him for being a dotting father and husband.
His two daughters eulogized their dad as the most loving present father .
