Kitui also recorded progress in table tennis, with its women’s team advancing to the semifinals and keeping its hopes of securing another medal alive.
However, the day also brought disappointment for the assembly’s pool table and football teams, which bowed out of the competition at the quarterfinal stage.

Despite the exits, the teams were commended for their efforts and determination throughout the tournament, with the assembly leadership maintaining its support for the remaining competitors.

The mixed results underline the competitive nature of the games, where individual achievements and team performances have continued to shape the fortunes of participating county assemblies.

As the competition enters its next phase, attention now shifts to Kitui’s remaining teams as they seek to build on the victories already recorded and secure further success before the games conclude.

The assembly leadership has wished the remaining competitors well in their upcoming fixtures, assuring them of continued support as they represent Kitui County in Kisumu.
For Kitui, Mutuku and Nduku’s successful title defences have already provided memorable highlights, while the women’s table tennis team offers another opportunity to add to the county assembly’s medal tally.
