Celebrated Kamba Journalist Sylvester Peter alias “Ithaa Kasome” has made a U-turn back to his ex- station days after getting involved in unmaterialized deal with rival station, Mbaitu Fm.
A close source privy to the switch deal has told Channel 015 News , that Mbaitu Fm didn’t meet the journalist demands resulting to collase of the deal.
“Yes , i can confirm that a deal between the station and the journalist didn’t materials. It’s normal in these kind of engagements, there is nothing to read much ” said the source.
The Ex-County FM breakfast show switched to Kamba FM mid this year and was part of the inaugural team that launched the station. He has been hosting breakfast show alongside Mkamba Mjanja.
Sylvesster had earlier this week bid farewell to his Akamba Fm colleagues and fans , hoping he would fill in the void left by the late Musungu Kyumbe who was buried last week after a long battle with skin cancer.
Mbaitu Fm has been restructuring his programing and sourcing for new talents following the demise of Musungu Kyumbe and sacking of Meshack Kaleli and Mirriam Koki, in an attempt to remain relevant and attractive to it’s audience.
