Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has launched an all-encompassing data collection blitz, setting the stage for a radical transformation in service delivery. This ambitious initiative is poised to be the ultimate game-changer, ensuring every decision made by the county government is driven by hard facts, transparency, and efficiency.

Governor Malombe, in his emphatic address, declared that his administration views data as the golden key to unlocking development, shaping progressive policies, and ensuring every resource is utilized to its maximum potential.

“Data is the power behind impactful governance. Through this exercise, we will pinpoint gaps, revolutionize planning, optimize resources, and drive targeted development that leaves no resident behind,” he asserted.

The Governor emphasized that this initiative will provide deep insights into the real needs of Kitui residents, allowing the county to tailor services with laser-sharp precision. From road networks to water accessibility, agricultural productivity to business-friendly environments, and healthcare to education, no sector will be left untouched by this transformative endeavor.

Power in Numbers! – A section of the 115 trained enumerators take an oath of secrecy before commencing the crucial data collection drive across Kitui County.

The data collection exercise is nothing short of an information revolution, targeting businesses, urban land parcels, and plots across every village, ward, and sub-county. The insights gathered will be embedded into County Public Policy, ushering in a new era of transparency, trust, and innovation.

Building a Data-Driven Future – County officials will analyze preliminary data, ensuring every policy decision aligns with the real needs of Kitui residents.

To execute this mammoth task, the county has deployed a battalion of 115 trained enumerators alongside village administrators, all of whom have sworn an oath of secrecy to safeguard the integrity of the data.

According to the County Executive for Agriculture and Livestock, who is spearheading the operation, this historic initiative will be wrapped up in a record-breaking 15 days. The clock is ticking, and Kitui is on the brink of an unprecedented governance revolution!
