Residents of Masewani village in Kangundo, Machakos County, are living in fear after stumbling upon what many believe to be evidence of dark rituals.
Early this morning, villagers were shocked to find a mysterious black pot, a heap of strange ashes, and a piece of cloth bearing names of local residents abandoned along a popular footpath. The eerie discovery has sparked widespread panic, with whispers of witchcraft sending chills through the quiet community.

Frightened locals gathered at the scene, some weeping openly, as speculation grew that the items could be linked to sinister practices meant to harm unsuspecting villagers. Community elders and church leaders have since been called upon to conduct urgent cleansing prayers to “drive out evil forces” and restore calm.

“We’ve never seen anything like this before. People are scared, especially because of the names written on that cloth,” said one shaken resident.
Local authorities have yet to issue a formal statement on the matter, but tension remains high as night falls on the village.
