NLP Party Leader and 2027 Kitui Central parliamentary hopeful, Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli, has reaffirmed his commitment to restoring and strengthening education by empowering parents and supporting learners across the constituency.
In the latest education-focused initiative, bursaries were issued to students from Kitui Central Constituency, with beneficiaries drawn from Mulango Township, Miambani, Kyangwithya East, and Kyangwithya West wards. The facilitation targeted vulnerable and deserving learners, easing the financial burden on parents and helping ensure students remain in school.

Dr. Muli, a strong advocate of education as the foundation of leadership and sustainable development, emphasized that investing in the young generation is critical to building a responsible, empowered, and future-ready society. He noted that meaningful development in Kitui Central—and Kenya at large—must be anchored on access to quality education and continuous support for learners.
The bursary programme forms part of Dr. Muli’s broader grassroots agenda centered on education, social empowerment, and inclusive growth. Local residents and education stakeholders have welcomed the move, describing it as timely support for families grappling with rising school costs and economic pressures.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, Dr. Muli’s consistent focus on education and youth empowerment continues to shape his political identity, positioning him as a key contender whose leadership vision places learners, parents, and long-term development at the core of Kitui Central’s future.
