    Businesses Shut Down In Mutomo Town As Police Lobby Tear Gas At Rioting Youths To Disperse Them

    Business activities in Mutomo, Kitui South Constituency have been paralyzed this morning as police engaged rioting youths in a hide and seek game.

    The protesting youths had gathered at Mutomo Town ahead of their protest , demanding to be adressed by their area Mp Hon Rachel Kaki Nyamai who voted yes in Finance Bill 2024.

    Police were forced to shoot in the air and throw tear gas canisters at the charged protesters believed to be Generation Z and who demanding an apology adress from their Mp.

    Elsewhere , peaceful demonstration have started in Kasarani, Wote , Makueni County , with protesters maintaining President William Ruto should step down for what they termed as misleading the nation in several nation agendas .

    At one point the rioting youths in Wote Town , barricaded Nairobi -Mombasa Highway at Emali demanding to be adressed by the area Mp.

    In Matuu Town , several youths staged protest along the busy Garrisa-Thika Highway, in company of a popular Kamba gospel artist Ndeke Ya Muthanga demanding President William Ruto to adress the rising cost of living in the country.

    In Kitui Town, the planned demonstration have been scheduled to start this afternoon starting at Kitui Bus Park and head to Kitui County Assembly and inside Kitui Central Business District.

    In Mombasa County , the demonstration kicked off this morning at Mapembeni area where protesters claimed dropping the Finance Bill 2024 was not the solution to nations problem and demanded President William Ruto to adress the issues raised by generation Z with immediate effect.

    In Nairobi County, police lobbied tear gas at charged crowd at several meeting points in the Nairobi Central Business District. At the time of going to press, several protesters had been arrested ahead of the much publicized demonstrations. Businesses remained closed in the CBD .
