Hon Daniel Ngoima has assumped office as the the new Majority Party Leader whereas Hon Munyoki Mwinzi takes over as Majority Party Whip of Kitui County Assembly replacing Hon. Boniface Mukwate Katula and Hon. Harrison Maluki Mawia as Majority Party Leader and Majority Party Leader respectively.
Confirming the new leadership formation to the house during the afternoon sitting, the Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya said the new leadership formation is as ruled by court at Kitui following a leadership wrangles that nearly paralyzed operations at the County Assembly.
The Speaker further congratulated the two on assuming their new roles while assuring them of his support as they transition into their new leadership positions. He also urged all members of the County Assembly to extend their full support and cooperation to them as they resume their duties in their leadership capacity.
