    College Student Held Over Boyfriend’s Fatal Stabbing in Juja

    A college student is being held at Juja Police Station after allegedly fatally stabbing her boyfriend during an incident at a rented house in Witeithie Estate, Juja, Kiambu County.

    The suspect, identified as Imani, is in police custody as detectives investigate the death of Elvis Kivuitu, who was also a college student in Thika.

    According to preliminary police reports, the incident occurred inside the couple’s rented room, where Kivuitu was allegedly stabbed with a kitchen knife following circumstances that investigators are still piecing together. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.

    Police officers visited the scene, documented evidence and recovered the suspected murder weapon as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.

    The suspect remains in custody at Juja Police Station and is expected to be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.

    The incident has sent shockwaves among students and residents of Witeithie Estate, adding to growing concerns over the rising number of fatal domestic disputes involving young couples.

    Police have urged the public to refrain from speculation as investigations continue, emphasizing that the facts surrounding the incident will be established through the justice system.
