Controversial preacher has made an emotional and public appeal over the welfare of his daughter Sky, saying he fears her future may be at risk amid ongoing separation and custody tensions involving his children.

Speaking during a Father’s Day church service, Kanyari said the day was one of the saddest moments of his life, noting that while many fathers were celebrating with their children, he remains separated from his.

“This Father’s Day is one of the saddest days of my life. While many fathers are celebrating with their children, I continue to live with the pain of being denied access to mine. I have not been able to see them, and I do not know where they are,” he said.

Kanyari expressed particular concern over his daughter Sky, claiming she has changed in behaviour and is frequently active on TikTok Live instead of attending school, a situation he fears could expose her to risky influences and derail her future.

“Sky has changed so much and I’m afraid she could end up getting pregnant,” he said, adding that he is worried she may no longer be in school.

He further alleged that both Sky and her brother Danny have been staying at home for weeks without attending school, raising serious concerns about their education and wellbeing.

The preacher also claimed that despite having court orders granting him custody, he has been unable to access his children, alleging that they are being kept away from him by those currently caring for them.

“To those responsible, I make a heartfelt appeal: please allow my children to reconnect with their father. I am giving until Wednesday for this matter to be addressed peacefully and in the best interests of the children,” he added.

Kanyari maintained that his actions are driven by love and concern, not conflict, insisting that every child deserves the guidance and presence of both parents.

“My fight is not driven by anger, but by love. Every child deserves to know both parents, and every father deserves the opportunity to love, guide, and support his children,” he said.

The emotionally charged remarks have sparked widespread public reaction online, with Kenyans divided over the custody dispute and renewed concerns about the welfare and schooling of the children involved.
