The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has announced that it will recruit 10,000 new police officers across the country beginning Friday, October 3, 2025, through Thursday, October 9, 2025.
According to the Commission, the exercise will run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in designated recruitment centers, with each location assigned specific dates and times.
NPSC emphasized that the process is free and fair, urging eligible and qualified candidates to turn up at their respective centers. The Commission further warned applicants and the public against falling victim to fraudsters and middlemen promising jobs in exchange for money.
“The recruitment is open to all qualified Kenyans. No fee whatsoever is required, and the Commission shall take stern action against any persons found soliciting or offering bribes during the process,” NPSC stated.
The exercise comes as part of government efforts to strengthen national security, address the rising demand for police services, and bridge manpower gaps within the service.
A detailed schedule of the recruitment centers and dates is expected to be published by the Commission ahead of the start of the exercise.
