At just 25, Peter Musya stands as a shining example of what it means to lead with heart, purpose, and unwavering resolve. As the Founder and CEO of the Peter Uplift Charity Foundation, he is not just making a difference—he is redefining grassroots impact across Kenya.

Born and raised in the rural heart of Mwingi Central, Kitui County, Peter’s journey from the dusty paths of Masavi Primary School to the corridors of Kabarak University has been guided by an enduring desire to serve. A graduate in Procurement and Logistics Management, Peter is also a proud member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, currently sharpening his global humanitarian lens through an Executive Diploma in Humanitarian Diplomacy at the International College of Peace Studies, Karen.

By day, he serves Kenya as a Regional Supply Chain Management Assistant at the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA). But beyond his formal role, Peter’s soul is anchored in service. He is an active Youth Representative in his constituency, the Regional Youth Chairperson for the Pentecostal Christian Fellowship Churches, and serves as the National Coordinator for the church’s youth programs.
Yet it’s through his foundation—Peter Uplift Charity Foundation—that his true legacy is unfolding.

The Mission: Restoring Dignity, Fueling Dreams
Since 2021, Peter and his team have reached over 7,000 girls in remote and underserved communities with sanitary pads, mentorship, and sexual reproductive health education. His campaigns aren’t just about handing out products—they’re about restoring dignity, combating stigma, and keeping girls in school.
For Peter, menstrual health is not a women’s issue—it’s a human rights issue.

“I saw girls dropping out of school because of periods. No girl should ever trade her future for something so natural. I had to act—even if I’m a man. Dignity has no gender.”

In a culture where silence around menstruation remains pervasive, Peter has chosen courage over convention. He breaks barriers by showing up in school halls, church meetings, and youth forums to speak boldly about menstrual hygiene. His goal? End period poverty. End teen pregnancies. Empower a generation.
A Vision Rooted in Lived Reality
Growing up, Peter watched gifted girls disappear from classrooms—trapped by poverty, early marriage, and shame around menstruation. That experience didn’t just move him—it molded his mission.

“I come from the same villages they do. I know their pain. That’s why I must be their voice—and their bridge.”

Through his foundation, Peter also runs programs on mentorship, career guidance, and leadership development, targeting vulnerable youth in arid and semi-arid lands. Every visit, every workshop, every sanitary pad handed out is a step toward a future where no dream is deferred because of inequality.

Lighting the Path for Others
Peter Musya is more than a philanthropist. He is a visionary leader, a changemaker, and a beacon of hope for thousands.
His story is proof that one person—with courage, clarity, and conviction—can indeed change the world, one step at a time.
And he’s only just begun.
