Collaboration between ministries in President William Ruto’s administration, aimed at accelerating regional development while advancing national interests was evident on Tuesday morning as Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Jonathan Mueke, visited his counterpart in the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, PS Teresia Mbaika, at her new Transcom House office.

The two leaders consulted and shared notes in the spirit of ensuring the government remains united in fulfilling the promises outlined in the UDA manifesto and delivering on the commitments President Ruto made to the Kenyan people.
Speaking after the visit, PS Mueke affirmed his commitment to ensuring that sectors like livestock, aviation, housing, and transport move in unison to unlock the region’s full potential. He said the discussion with PS Teresia Mbaika was timely and added that they want to speak with one voice as they prepare to engage H.E. the President in the upcoming leaders’ meeting, emphasizing that it’s about bringing transformative development home.

The PS has remained vocal in his support for the Kenya Kwanza government’s flagship programs, including the Affordable Housing initiative, which is steadily reshaping urban landscapes and providing dignity to low-income households.

Speaking to Channel 15 News, Mueke recounted his own experience with poor housing infrastructure in Nairobi and noted that the launch in Mukuru marks a major milestone in the construction of decent, affordable homes in the country.
As the Ministry of Livestock Development continues to champion pastoral resilience and food security, Mueke’s cross-sectoral approach signals a leadership style rooted in collaboration, community empowerment, and long-term impact.
With leaders like PS Mueke at the helm, the South Eastern region is set to rise—one aligned vision at a time.
