Police in Mwala Sub-County, Machakos County, have arrested eight boys suspected of orchestrating and setting ablaze a school dormitory this morning while other students were attending their morning preps.

Preliminary investigation reports reveal that the boys were identified by their fellow students as the masterminds behind the arson plot, after a disagreement emerged among the students over the plan.

The suspects are currently being held at Makutano Police Patrol Base as investigations into the incident continue.
