Abedinecho Kyalo Katue has broken his silence following his recent arrest in the United States, dismissing the allegations against him as false.
In a message shared on his social media platforms, the Kibwezi-born nurse thanked supporters who have stood by him during the difficult period and reassured them that he is doing well.
“Hey guys! Thank you so much for your prayers and unwavering support. I truly, deeply, and sincerely appreciate each and every one of you,” he wrote.

Katue also strongly denied the accusations that led to his arrest, describing them as completely untrue and contrary to his personal values.
“The unthinkable and evil story you may have heard about me is completely and totally FALSE. I would never do such a thing, nor would I ever want to be associated with anyone who engages in such behavior,” he said.
However, Katue noted that he would not be able to comment further on the matter because the case is still ongoing.
“Because this is an ongoing case, I will not be able to comment further or discuss the matter at this time,” he added.
The nurse’s statement comes days after his arrest in Florida over allegations involving a patient at AdventHealth, a case first reported by WFTV Channel 9.
The case has sparked widespread discussion among Kenyans both in the diaspora and back home, particularly in Ukambani where Katue is believed to hail from.
Legal proceedings in the United States are expected to continue as the case moves through the court process.
