The man known for exposing politicians in his famous Vampire Diaries series, Morara Kebaso, is now facing the kind of scrutiny he usually dishes out.
Audio leaks and videos circulating online allege that Morara was involved in a secret affair with popular TikToker Gilo Ntiyari, sparking intense debate across social media and shaking his political credibility.
In the leaked audios, Gilo recounts being taken on a three-day trip to Mombasa by Morara, who reportedly showered her with lavish gifts—including furniture—following what sources describe as their “Mechi.”
The scandal took a more personal turn when Gilo’s three-month marriage to Captain Sammir ended, with insiders claiming Morara’s involvement played a decisive role.
Social media personality Edgar Obare, who released the audio and video evidence, claimed that Morara, who portrays himself as a married man of principles, “suffocated” Gilo with gifts and even allegedly gave her furniture originally meant for Sammir’s wife.
Disturbingly, some of these items were reportedly shared with Sudanese acquaintances in Kilimani, “even as Morara got a slice,” Obare added.
When asked about the allegations, Gilo remained noncommittal, telling reporters: “Nothing happened, the Sudanese used CD.”
The fallout has been immediate.
Political watchers and netizens are questioning Morara’s credibility, ethics, and whether a politician known for holding others accountable can maintain public trust while facing a private scandal of this magnitude.
