Juja MP George Koimburi, who was allegedly abducted on Sunday afternoon outside Full Gospel Church in Mugutha, has been found in critical condition in Kibichoi, Kiambu County.
Sources indicate the legislator has been rushed to Karen Hospital for emergency medical treatment. His condition remains serious, and details of what transpired during his disappearance are still unclear.
Koimburi was forcefully taken by men believed to be plainclothes DCI officers moments after a church service, in front of horrified congregants. His wife, Mama Shiru, was also injured while attempting to be taken alongside him.
This shocking development follows mounting concern over the MP’s whereabouts and growing outrage over the brazen manner in which he was taken.
